- **Event Description**: Great Bardfield Poetry Club is thrilled to welcome writer and poet Jane – no longer tame – to our next meeting on Thursday, 20th November, at @betweenthelines bookshop, starting at 7.30pm.

Join us for an inspiring evening as Jane reads from her powerful poetry pamphlet, A Woman in Pieces.

Jane has always written poetry and journaled, but it’s only in the last two and a half years that she has truly claimed the identity of writer. Her 80,000-word novel, A Woman in Pieces, explores how women’s trauma, intelligence, creativity, and spirituality have so often been dismissed as “madness” to silence their voices and diminish their power.

Her poetry pamphlet, also titled A Woman in Pieces, gathers selected poems from the novel. Jane’s recent work engages with the theme of the obscure radical — reflecting how women have often had to blur or conceal their stories. On the night, she will read from her pamphlet as well as from a series of single-sheet declarations, where the message shines less hidden.

As always, there will be time for your poems too!
