Criado em 2018, o Indigo Quintet, formado por Pedro Teixeira (saxofone soprano/oboé/corne inglês/duduk), Tiago Machado (guitarra), Ricardo Januário (violoncelo), Jorge Castro (contrabaixo) e Pedro Gonçalves de Oliveira (bateria) em 2018, tem-se afirmado como um dos projetos mais singulares da nova cena musical instrumental portuguesa, explorando sonoridades onde a música erudita contemporânea, o jazz e a improvisação se entrelaçam. O quinteto tem vindo a consolidar o seu percurso através de concertos, projetos e residências artísticas que privilegiam a criação conjunta e colaborativa em diálogo entre diferentes linguagens musicais.

Neste concerto, o Indigo Quintet apresenta em estreia absoluta um conjunto de novas obras que integrarão o seu próximo álbum, depois de 'Indigo Session' (2018) e 'Labirinto' (2022), atualmente em fase de gravação. Estes novos temas aprofundam o universo sonoro do grupo, explorando texturas e ambientes, espaços de improvisação e formas abertas de construção musical.
