- **Event Description**: The Neighbourhood Project CIC is carrying out research project into the history of Tyersal. We are looking to talk to people who have lived, worked, volunteered or had some other connection with the area or nearby, or who are familiar with it for some other reason.

We are especially interested in people who lived in or close by Tyersal or the Sutton Estate during the early post-war period as we wish to capture people’s memories of this time, what it was like to live there, how it changed and any interesting facts or stories. These memories will provide us with material for a short video about Tyersal we hope to produce later this year.

We are running an event at the Sutton Centre on Wednesday 4th Marh, 1pm to 3pm. We will explain further about our project and this will be one of a number of opportunities for people to reminisce about Tyersal and share their memories and stories. People’s contributions will be anonymous unless they give us permission to name them.
