Elemental Correspondences in the Philosophy of Paracelsus

Philippus Aureolus Theophrastus Bombastus von Hohenheim, better known as Paracelsus (1493–1541), was a Swiss physician, alchemist, and philosopher whose work redefined the boundaries of natural philosophy in the early modern period. His theories on the four elements and the Tria Prima (three primary substances) formed the cornerstone of his alchemical and medical worldview.
