# Event Details - **Event Name**: Colourful Weaving - Threads 2026 - **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 16 May, 2026 at 03:00 pm – Sat, 16 May, 2026 at 05:00 pm (+01:00) - **Event Description**: A fun weaving workshop with tutor Agnis Smallwood, where you will learn how to weave and experiment with colour!About this EventYou will create your own pair of pot holders or coffee mug rugs or plant pot mats, it's up to you how you will use your gorgeous weaving.You will create your own individual outcome as you will design your own pattern and be able to select from a large range of colourful cotton loops to use within your work.There will be lots of inspiration and ideas to help you as well as group demonstrations and one to one support throughout.You don't need to bring anything with you. The looms, additional equipment as well as enough cotton loops to make two bespoke outcomes will be provided for use within the workshop. You will go home with two woven outcomes.Please note - we will not be using the large dobby looms within the weaving shed for this session. She is a Designer Maker Researcher and Educator who loves to make, create and teach. Agnis has a passion for textiles and specialises in weave.
