Join us for a night of delicious bites and celestial sights on December 5 from 6-10pm at The Bishop!
We have partnered with the Local Group of Deep Sky Observers (LGDSO) to bring Sidewalk Astronomy to The Bishop. At this FREE event, you’ll have a chance to see planets, moons, and maybe some deep-sky objects through powerful telescopes. We’ve also partnered with local food vendors FEWD Tent, Sol Sipsters Coffee, and Edible Cookie Dough Cafe, so you can enjoy a bite while observing the universe. Drinks, including water, soda, wine, and beer, will be available for purchase.
In addition to telescopes and tacos, you’ll have a chance to see the Planetarium show, Messengers of Time and Space, at 6:30, 7:15, 8:15, and 9:15 for just $5 a person or free for members. Our gift shop will be open until 8pm for any last-minute holiday shopping!
See you under the stars for this special FREE event at The Bishop!
Please note: The main Museum and Parker Manatee Rehabilitation Habitat will be closed during this event. Service animals are the only animals allowed on site.
