Encaustic Painting Workshop

Join Artist Ann Shier to learn step-by-step how to create an encaustic landscape painting on an 8”x8" wood substrate. We will be exploring a variety of fun encaustic techniques to create your own unique encaustic painting.

This painting medium combines molten beeswax, resin mixed with pigments and is then applied to a surface of a support.

We will be working on watercolour paper for practice after a demonstration then moving onto a 8”x8” wooden substrate.

Learn different techniques, have fun exploring this unique painting form and try something new!

No previous experience necessary! Creatives at all levels are welcome.
