Few humans knew music like Kels Koch - a musician, purveyor, DJ, enthusiast, and sound scholar. Kels first shook KGLT’s airwaves in the ‘80s before his musical tours took him far and wide.  

For the past 10 years, his voice could be heard on KGLT-FM on Tuesdays from 9am to noon, always starting with The Stooges track “Shake Appeal” - which also titled his radio show. He always brightened your day, especially with his signature: “Today is going to be ssSUUUNNNYYYyy!!!”  

His beloved record shop, The Wax Museum was Bozeman’s home of vintage sounds. 

KGLT will be playing Kels’ recorded “Shake Appeal” shows on Tuesdays from 9am to noon as a tribute to our dear friend and musical family member.
