The mother searches western medicine and alternative therapies, equally. Storey’s mother believes that miracles happen, this keeps her hope alive while providing her family with as much normalcy as possible. Storey’s love for her mother, father and brother offers her family an opportunity to be present in their fear of the future.As the seasons pass the mother understands that the more Storey declines, the more love Storey has to give to anyone with an open heart.ABOUT SANDEE BARRY MILLSSandee Barry Mills received a B.A., in Fine Arts in the 1980s after many tears and beers. Her life experience as an impaired dyslexic test taker and a mother of exceptional children, guided her to become an adaptive ski instructor and a therapeutic horsemanship volunteer. When she’s not writing and editing, she and her golden retriever, MoonPie, are in the mountains where creative ideas grow from trees. She celebrates the change of seasons and her latest artistic passion. She and her husband live near their son in Montana. This is her first book.ABOUT EAGLE MOUNTEagle Mount Bozeman is committed to provide quality adaptive recreation and sport opportunities for people with disabilities and young people impacted by cancer, and to provide support for families of participants, so that “they shall mount up with wings as eagles.” Whether horseback riding, skiing, swimming, gardening, cycling, climbing, or enjoying a variety of other activities, Eagle Mount participants and their families expand their horizons in a multitude of ways through each of Montana’s four seasons.The event at a glance:On May 7, please arrive early to secure your seat. Seating is general admission, first come, first served.At 6:00pm, the event will begin.
