You’ll begin with a guided walk through the farm to understand how and why we plant the way we do. From there, you’ll move into an in-depth planting lesson covering soil preparation, spacing, plant handling, and long-term care, before heading into the fields to plant lavender alongside our team.

Throughout the day, you’ll gain practical knowledge you can apply at home, along with a deeper understanding of what it takes to establish and maintain a thriving lavender planting.

Midday, enjoy a relaxed lunch featuring deli sandwiches from a local artisan, followed by a lavender-inspired snack break with lavender lemonade fizz and lavender shortbread cookies.

At the end of the day, you’ll leave not only with a lavender plant and planting guide, but with the confidence and experience that comes from truly getting your hands in the soil.

And perhaps the most special part, you’ll be able to return in future seasons and see the plants you helped establish continuing to grow.

This experience includes a combination of walking and guided travel across the farm by golf cart between planting areas.
