Participants will be in the woods a total of 90 minutes while soaking in the beautiful scenery, smelling the fresh spring air and soil, and listening to wildlife scuttle through all while keeping a keen eye for those treasured morel mushrooms. After the hunt Kiwanians will count your treasures and return them to you. A winner will take home bragging rights and a trophy!Transportation to and from the hunting location is included in the registration fee. The morel hunt will take place rain or shine. Anyone who does not arrive before 8:40 will lose their space and a refund will not be issued. 8:45 am: Buses leave registration for the hunt site. Buses are supplied by the Festival. No other vehicles are allowed to accompany the buses.
