- **Event Description**: Boyers Sportsmen's Association members!! It is time to get your fishing rods ready and check your tackle box to make sure you have the lucky bait and lures. Spring, and the first day of trout in Pennsylvania is right around the corner. We are preparing the lake to be stocked and loaded with trout from Laurel Hill Trout Farm. Get a spot reserved the morning of April 4th at the "Jay Hewitt Memorial Lake" and be ready to cast those line into the water with your favorite bait or lure at 8am sharp. The bon-fire will keep you warm while you tell some stories of the past hunting season. The guys will be preparing a great lunch for everyone to enjoy. The famous B.S.A. venison sausage will be made over the wood fire stove at the picnic pavilion along with some hot dogs and other tasty vittles and snacks. 

Thursday, April 2nd is the first of two scheduled trout stocking deliveries. We have been provided a window between 3 and 5pm ( We will keep you updated) for the overstocked truck of trout to arrive. If you would like to help, grab a bucket and get to the lake and see what these beautiful trout look like going in the water. If your not a member and want to become one please feel welcome to stop in, even if you only want to watch.

2026 Memberships will be available by club officers on March 31st during the stocking and also the morning of April 4th while officers are at the lake during the first day activities.

Officers WILL BE checking for memberships the first day of trout and throughout the season. Make sure you are prepared.

"Make Your Own Outdoor Adventure" raffle tickets will be available for purchase on April 4th at the lake also.  You will have to agree a $1 tickets will be the best raffle in Boyers. Who wouldn't like to win a $1000.00 Bass Pro/ Cabela's Gift Card. Tickets are selling fast so don't miss out on making your next great outdoor adventure on us. 

This will be a great opportunity to order or purchase some new B.S.A. merchandise and apparel. What a great way to represent your club wearing a nice t-shirt this summer fishing or a hoodie on those chilly mornings.

We hope to see our great members and there families enjoying the outdoors at the lake this spring and summer.
