Let’s brighten the day of a child
battling cancer — one toy at a time
 
November 1st marks the anniversary of Adam’s last chemotherapy treatment for leukemia.

To honour this milestone, our family hosts an annual Toy Drive for children battling cancer at Sick Kids & Centenary hospitals.

During Adam’s 3+ years of treatment, we saw firsthand how even a small toy could bring a huge smile to his face after a long and difficult day of treatment. Each time Adam went in for an appointment — sometimes twice a week, weekly, or bi-weekly — he was allowed to choose a toy from the hospital’s treasure box. On special occasions like holidays, birthdays, or major treatment milestones, he was given larger gifts.

When you consider how many toys it takes to support just one child over that time, you realize the incredible impact these simple gifts can have. Now, we want to bring that same joy to other kids fighting cancer.
 
Each year, we collect NEW & UNWRAPPED TOYS to donate to the oncology floors of the hospitals that supported Adam.

Thanks to your incredible support, we’ve donated over 1600 toys so far!
