🎨 The Heart of Winter: A Community Art Contest at SKYPAC
This holiday season, SKYPAC invites artists of all ages to take part in The Heart of Winter Art Contest, a community-wide celebration of creativity, memory, and connection. The exhibition will run November 14 – December 15, 2025 in The Goodwin Gallery at SKYPAC.
Open to artists ages 5 and up, the contest welcomes 1–2 original works in any visual medium, from paintings and photography to sculpture, ceramics, fiber arts, and more. Participants are encouraged to explore this year’s theme, The Heart of Winter, through interpretations of winter: stillness, warmth, wellness, transformation, and community—whether expressed literally, symbolically, or abstractly.
Approved entries will be showcased for public viewing, with tiered cash prizes awarded in six age groups. Visitors can also take part by casting a ballot during the exhibition’s People’s Choice Voting Period (November 14–December 8). Cash awards will be distributed to winners in each age group, including a special People’s Choice Award.

- Entry Fees start at just $10 for youth artists and range up to $20 for adults.
