Do you love native flora and fauna? Do you want to learn more and get a chance to be up-close and personal with the flora found on the Black Swamp Arts Festival 2026 poster? Then you're in luck! Join the Wood County Park District, Bowling Green Parks and Recreation, and the Black Swamp Arts Festival 2026 poster artist Taylor Vanek at Wintergarden/St. John's Nature Preserve for a round robin presentation event where you’ll learn all about the flora and fauna that you see on the poster! After the round robin presentations, we’ll head outside for a guided hike around Wintergarden for a chance to see Butterfly Milkweed, Ohio Spiderwort, New England Asters, and maybe even some butterflies! Don’t forget to hit up the seed bar before leaving to make your own custom native plant mix to take home with you!

*Significant portions of this program will involve walking the trails, please bring a water bottle and wear comfy shoes and weather appropriate clothing. The trails and the Rotary Nature Center are accessible but for any accommodations, please call ahead so that we can make sure you have the best experience at this program.
