The Peace River is a well known Mecca for fossils so, even if you only find sharks teeth, it’s still pretty amazing considering you found them in a freshwater river in the middle of our state, don’t you think? 

?Trip Details:
• Meet: 8 AM Payne’s Creek State Park
• Launch: 8:30 AM
• Return by: 4PM
• Cost: $250 per person includes guide, kayak, all fossil hunting & safety gear
• $200 per person if you bring your own non inflatable kayak/canoe, safety & fossil gear

• Bonus Seat: "Ride with a Guide" (with me!) for $100- the catch - there's only ONE spot available to client’s who adventured with us in the past year. Once it's claimed, it's gone so don’t miss the boat.

Shark teeth, invertebrates & plant fossils? No permit needed!

Looking for the BIG stuff?You'll need a fossil permit. Follow the link through our website under the "Fossil Hunting" tab. Then print, fill out, and mail it off with a $5 annual fee.
