Block 13- Welcome back, Blockheads! This week’s pattern is Toadstool Twist, a playful variation on the traditional T-block designed by Betsy Chutchian.

The Folk Star block finishes at 27 inches and is constructed entirely from half-square triangles. That’s right—just one unit repeated and rearranged to stunning effect!

Block 14- This week in Blockheads 6, we’re spinning into something fun with Carousel Waltz, designed by Camille Roskelley! Though this block has a spinning pinwheel vibe, the construction is super straightforward, with easy-to-piece HSTs and rectangle units.

 
Supplies:

The cost of the class WILL INCLUDE pattern, you provide the fabric.

Sewing machine in working order 

Basic quilting supplies 

Sewing Machine in good working order
Thread
Seam Ripper
Scissors
Cutting Mat 18"x24" minimum
Rotary Cutter
Ruler min. 24" long

NOTE: The classroom will have irons available for pressing

Project Supplies:
Fabrics from your stash, we are only making one of each block 
Optional but helpful tools to bring to class:
Small travel iron
Wool pressing mat

The doors will open at 9:30 am and class will begin promptly at 10 am. Please come early so that you have time to set up your sewing space!

Bring a brown bag lunch... we have a refrigerator and microwave for your usage or we can order out.

She is an avid pattern writer and one of her patterns was recently chosen for the 2026 All Texas Shop Hop.
