Month 6
Block 11- This week’s Blockheads 6 block is Folk Star, a bold and beautiful design by longtime Blockheads designer Lisa Bongean of Primitive Gatherings. Lisa has been part of the Blockheads journey since the very first series, and her designs always bring a unique blend of tradition and sophistication.
The Folk Star block finishes at 27 inches and is constructed entirely from half-square triangles. That’s right—just one unit repeated and rearranged to stunning effect!
Block 12- This week’s Blockheads 6 pattern is Flight Path by Corey Yoder of Coriander Quilts. With a simple mix of flying geese in two different sizes, this block offers crisp lines, playful angles, and plenty of opportunity to showcase your favorite fabrics. Whether you stick with a coordinated color palette or go full-on scrappy, Flight Path is a fun, fast sew that fits beautifully into your Blockheads quilt.

The doors will open at 9:30 am and class will begin promptly at 10 am. Please come early so that you have time to set up your sewing space!
Bring a brown bag lunch... we have a refrigerator and microwave for your usage or we can order out.

Instructor Bio: Jenna is a high school teacher at North West High School, she has lots of patience and can assist with all levels of quilters. She is the owner of Oodles of Quilts, longarm quilting. She is an avid pattern writer and one of her patterns was recently chosen for the 2026 All Texas Shop Hop.
