Recognise and Interrupt Technology Abuse Training - Bowen

Proudly funded by Whitsunday Regional Council, supported by Whitsunday Counselling and Support Inc and Bowen PCYC, and delivered by leading specialist security service Concentric Concepts, this practical session will assist service providers in the Whitsunday area to raise awareness about technology facilitated abuse, and support victim-survivors of DFV to be able to use technology safely and free from abuse.

2. Mobile phones and devices:

• Location and share settings
• Spyware and application-based tracking
• iCloud and Google operating systems
• Factory resetting and passwords
• Myths and truths about technology facilitated abuse

3. Safety planning with people experiencing technology facilitated abuse.
