- **Event Start and End Date**: Mon, 23 Nov, 2026 at 04:00 pm – Fri, 27 Nov, 2026 at 12:00 pm (-07:00)
- **Event Description**: Many Hands Retreat brings Mimi Young back to Bowen Island. The act of making is one of the oldest available forms of return; be it to the body, to attention, to the ordinary pleasure of a thing becoming. Spellwork and ritual knows this too. The work has always been where the two meet.

Many Hands is a five-day arts and crafts retreat at Nectar on Bowen Island for people who are spiritually inclined, and who create, who practice, who carry a great deal and are ready to set some of it down for a few days in the company of others doing the same. Witchcraft and ritual are woven into the shape of the days. They are present for those who want them and invisible to those who don't.

Mimi Young is an occultist, predictions consultant, maker, and founder of Ceremonie. She holds a design degree from Emily Carr University of Art and Design, where she has since returned as a guest speaker, and attended an artist residency at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. She owned and operated a quilt business before founding Ceremonie. Her work has been published in print and featured in Vogue and Goop.

Daily morning movement practices, with a focus on yoga for tension relief will be offered by Andrea Clark, founder of Nectar and Mist.
