- **Event Description**: Starting off at the Grey Gum picnic area atop the main ridge of Mount Coo-Tha, we descend along a gully where we see wattyl, young fig trees and casurinas as well as lots of lemon-scented gums. The trail is a peaceful and pleasant little single-track where we don't expect to see many other walkers.

After some twists and turns, we cross the creek at Slaughter Falls and then have a little heart-pumper of a climb up to Powerful Owl firetrail. We catch our breath and then walk on a very well made trail down to Simpson Falls and then meander back up to the picnic area where we can have a coffee and a chat. Bring some nibbles for after the walk and remember your poles if you like to walk with them normally.
