- **Event Description**: Lachlan Alexander is a Brisbane-based clarinet/saxophone player that began his studies at the Jazz Music Institute in 2018. After graduating with a bachelor of jazz performance on the tenor saxophone, he continued his studies at the Griffith Conservatorium receiving his masters of music in 2022. Lachlan plays clarinet in the manouche group Echoes of Cirque, releasing their album “Fig. 1” in November 2025.

This performance features some of Brisbane’s finest musicians playing some of Lachlan’s arrangements and original material inspired by the music of Gigi Gryce, Tadd Dameron, Luigi Grasso, and Chris Byars. this will surely be a night of good music!
