Workshop | Carve a Wooden Bowl with Carol Russell
Carve your own unique timber bowl with wood working expert Carol Russell. In this workshop Carol will introduce you to traditional hand tools and wood working techniques. You will select a piece of timber, develop a design and make your own wooden bowl. Carol will guide you through a number of shaping and finishing methods to make a truly personal and tactile object.
This workshop is suitable for beginners but will also appeal to people who want to expand on previous wood working experiences.

About Carol Russell:
Carol has over 25 years’ experience as a furniture maker, antique restorer and teacher. Carol’s on-going love for timber led her to hand carving smaller objects like wooden spoons and knives, wooden vessels and milking stools. Based in Queensland, Carol travels Australia-wide teaching carving workshops. Carol’s stunning work has been exhibited widely, including in artisan’s Marketplace exhibition curated by Melinda Gagen.
