Freedom Backyard Ultra Marathon

Join us on June 6, 2026 for our areas first Backyard Ultra Marathon either as a runner or a spectator! All proceeds will be supporting The Freedom 13 organization!

What is a Backyard Ultra Marathon? This is a last man standing race where runners will have one hour to complete a 4.16 mile loop, this continues every hour on the hour until only one person remains! This means the race could go 12 hours, 24 hours or even longer! The course features rolling hills, creek crossings, fields, and small gravel road portions and will take place at Missouri Freedom Camp in Bourbon! This is a rain or shine event!

There will be live music and food and beer available to purchase provided by Muddy Banks throughout the event! Please use this event page to let us know if you will be joining us as a spectator so that we can know how many people to expect!
