Learn to make fresh cheese from suburban homesteading mom extraordinaire, Ærin Lund (Old Ways Wife blog). Have you always wanted to make your own homemade cheese, but felt too confused and intimidated by all the information out there on the internet to take the leap?
This class for beginners gives you a solid place to start and gives you the tools you need to feel confident in home cheesemaking. Your ticket price includes a presentation on the basic science of cheesemaking, a demonstration of how to begin your first batch of fresh farmstead-style cheese, a homemade raw cheese sample, flora danica cheese culture to take home, and a handout with all the information discussed in the class for your reference.
Bring your own pen and notebook.
Early bird tickets (until January 6, 2 pm) $30 per attendee via PayPal, Venmo, or cash.
Last minute tickets (from Jan 6, 2 pm - Jan 8, 7:30 am) $40
