Celestial Sisters is a weekend retreat for women and girls. Gather together with other women to celebrate yourself and each other, unplug from your daily life, and attune to the sacred land. Enjoy a special weekend at Liberty Arising, a beautiful High Desert Retreat Center one hour east of San Diego.
Dive into a deeper realm of self-expression and embodiment, create meaningful connections, and expand into community. At Celestial Sisters we will weave together teachings that nourish your mind, body, heart, and spirit in the company of women, with the support of women and a uniquely gifted facilitation team.
You're welcome to attend this Mother's Day weekend retreat with your sister, mother, or daughter or you can come alone and find sisters here! In order to nourish our feminine space together we ask that you leave your boys at home, unless they're still nursing.

All bedding is provided for your comfort in any private room, cabin, or trailer/RV. Ticket costs are per person so if you're sharing a private room, tent or RV with another woman you must purchase individual tickets.
Our Facilitation Team :
Rachel Dragon - Rachel is a resident and Director at Liberty Arising and has hand selected a stellar team of women to share their wisdom, their tools, and their hearts with you. She will be present and available throughout the weekend to offer support and hold space.
Katie Dove - Katie is an intuitive guide, healer, and teacher. She is a mystic and has been exploring esoteric teachings and mystery schools for over two decades. Katie’s gatherings and teaching consist of things she is fascinated by and often working on at the moment. They are a mixture of experiences she has collected over the years and things she has developed herself.
Leona Grunow - Leona is a homeschool mom to an 8 year old boy and two nieces ages 7 and 3. She is a lifetime learner diving into her ancestral language, customs, and foods and planting an ancestral food garden. She also continues to learn about San Diego ecology through the lens of the land’s first people, the Kumeyaay, at Kumeyaay Community College. She is passionate about her spiritual path, which is walked daily, with the guidance and support of her elder Myranda Pretty-Owl, her ancestors, and guides at The Sacred Way Mystery School.
Mara Harris - Mara is a cultural activist and Women & Wellness Advocate who combines breath exercises, explorative movement, ritual, and self-awareness tools to facilitate participants through their unique state of emergence. Mara's energetic facilitation incorporates a broad view of Life through various lenses with: a background in Clinical Psychology and Women Studies (currently rebirthing herself via Organic Intelligence Post-Trauma Growth Coaching Program and The 5-year Rudra Yoga Program with Murshida Kadre), two decades of teaching yoga, along with a personal mission of exploring self-awareness via: hatha yoga, contact improv dance, improv theatre, partner yoga, acrobatics, burning man, group-therapy, inner-child work, friendships, partnerships, good food, basket weaving, and synchronicity as a tuning fork. Circling up with Celestial Sisters since its inception, she is honored to collaborate with this current team of women seeking to harness collective wisdom! From firsthand experience, Celestial Sisters Retreat time invites introspection, harmonious gathering, and metta-morphosis!
