Join Herbalist Grace Krupkowski during this 4 part medicinal plant foraging course in southern New Hampshire. We will spend time idenifying wild plants of the bioregion while discussing the medicinal attributes, how to ethically forage, and create wildcrafted remedies.

Learning to identify wild medicinal plants amongst your local unkept ecosystems is vital in understanding the core practices of herbalism. During these wild medicine, foraging, and wildcrafting sessions you will learn how to channel your inner herbal naturalist. You will differentiate the key characteristics of medicinal plants from the surrounding environment, learn extensive guidelines for foraging, and learn wildcrafting skills.

Expect to spend time directly in nature, with the plants, learning the nuances of bioregional herbalism. Each course expands upon the knowledge gained from the previous. Grounded in resilience, understanding reciprocal relationship, allyship with the land, wild botany, ancestral and natural history.

Expect To:

• Gain an extensive knowledge of foraging local wild herbs and edible plants

• Learn how to mindfully wildcraft with these plants in a way that supports your body and the environment

• Build a wild bioregional-based apothecary and apply materia medica skill building

• Connect in person with like-minded folks

EVENT HISTORY:

This is the second year this event has been hosted following a successful run in it's first year. Last year classes met in Plaistow and Bedford, New Hampshire. The course has had a powerful run with many students eager to learn more about the wild spaces often invisible to us. I look forward to hosting this course yearly, as each participant new and old (repeat students) gather important knowledge that consistently becomes solidified over time. Rooted in connecting with nature, building personal and communal agency, this course is and will always be designed with integrating holistic health, reverance for the plants and ecosystem, and self-sufficiency in mind.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:

Trilogy Herbs is founded by Grace Krupkowski, herbalist and educator. Trilogy Herbs is located in Keene, New Hampshire and serves all of Northern New England and beyond.

Trilogy Herbs seeks to weave the power of personal agency, health justice, and the medicinal plants together into cohesion. These three links bring forth an awareness not only of how you can better take care of yourself, but also through the forces of the natural world and the medicine it provides. Through herbalism, we establish resilience and an awareness of interconnectedness between all aspects of the self.

Grace's innate and learned knowledge fosters a connection across many herbal traditions. In 2015 she began an exploration into the world of herbalism and plant connection which has since blossomed into a lifelong passion. Since 2020, Grace has served as an educator teaching courses in person and online while managing an herbal product line. Most popular are Grace's courses in plant identification, foraging, and wildcrafting. Many people gravitate towards Grace's unique perspective and personable, enthusiastic demeanor when it comes to connecting and learning about medicinal and edible wild plants. She has studied with Kenzie Khaliq of Wild Faith Wellness, the Boston School of Herbal Studies, California School of Herbal Studies, and is a graduate of the Family and Community Herbalist program at the Vermont Center for Integrative Herbalism.
