Speaker lineup and information can be found at TEDxCU.comEvent Schedule Information:Doors open at 1:00 pm. The event is open seating, we recommend you arrive early. Our audience activations will start when doors open. Speakers and other fine arts performances will start promptly at 2:00 pm and end at 5:00 pm. There will be two 10-15 minute intermissions.All tickets purchased before January 9th will receive an Early Bird discount. Ticket prices will increase promptly after.Theme Description:On the Contrary challenges us to reconsider the tension between opposites not as conflict, but as connection. Just as we don’t know light without shadow, or sound without silence, it is through juxtaposition that meaning emerges. Our theme explores the beauty of contradiction and opposition where tensions like chaos and order, friction and flow, and comedy and tragedy, remind us that opposing viewpoints are often two halves of a deeper truth. In duality, we can find dialogue, rather than division.Student Ticket InformationTo purchase a CU student ticket, you need to use your CU email address and enter your student ID number. If you do not enter both of these at the time of registration, your ticket will be canceled.
