❤️‍🔥 I wrote this poem 5 years ago.

"I am lonely.

My heart hurts.

My body is revolting against the grind.

No culture.

No community.

Precious little connection.

My body remembers something different.

My spirit knows.

It eats at my existence this sad fucking hustle.

Where is the ceremony?

Where is the song?

Where is the belonging?

I need to touch something sacred. I can’t find it tonight.

I can’t find it."

I have always been a seeker... felt the deep ache and longing to touch something bigger than my own insular experience of life.

This fire first took shape in an upbringing rooted in religious fundamentalism, leading me to a militaristic ministry training through the Pentecostal church, and on to the mission field in Uganda and Sudan in my late teens and early twenties.

These experiences cracked me open, inviting me to examine my beliefs and walk away from the church.

The road was messy, unbearably lonely, and riddled with landmines of shame and shadow I had no idea how to navigate.

And this is why I built The Sensual Soul Project. For the seekers. The empaths. The ones who still feel the deep longing to touch the flame within— to experience profound connection without the dogma.

To tease apart the fundamentalist programming that persists and explore the infinite shades of our existence.

And now, the time has come. WE. ARE. CELEBRATING.

It is my immense pleasure to invite you to the launch of The Sensual Soul Project Community.

This isn’t just a party. It’s a remembering. A portal. A return to your wild, sacred self.

This is a celebration for the brave ones breaking free from rigid beliefs, healing through embodied truth, and stepping into a life of radical wholeness.

• Lots along 14th St. are permit only 8am-6pm Mon-Fri, otherwise free
• City lot on Canyon: 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri, otherwise free
