Long Pose Figure Drawing/Painting

Long poses offer artists time to study anatomy, light, composition. They hold the opportunity to practice accuracy, observation, and technique. Long poses provide more time to dig into the details! At a long pose you don't have to render the pose from the same position the entire time-you can move around and make numerous drawings from different perspectives, turning a 3hr pose into three 1hr poses instead. Long poses offer an opportunity to explore different mediums and give you more time to experiment! When a room full of artists fall into a meditative, energetic flow-state, with charcoal, pastels and watercolor brushes dancing across paper; becoming so in tune with the experience of returning to that playful, childlike state of pure creative curiosity, exploring without any expectations or judgement...that is when the magic happens! ⭐Join us Sunday, March 1 from 5-8pm for a long pose with fine art model Heidi.
