- **Event Description**: Bassoonist Yoshi Ishikawa—alongside pianist Brenda Ishikawa and clarinetist Dan Silver—will present a program of virtuoso music spanning the Baroque/Galant era to modern times. The recital will feature music for bassoon by Antoine Dard, an 18th-century bassoonist-composer from the French royal court, songs by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, variations on an operatic aria by Gioachino Rossini, and an unpublished trio for clarinet, bassoon and piano by the American songwriter Alec Wilder.

Renowned CU Boulder College of Music faculty artists perform with students and colleagues in chamber music recitals featuring world premieres and beloved classics. Join us for this free series in person at Grusin Music Hall or via livestream most Tuesdays from August through March.
