This is an introductory class at the novice level.Tuesday Series Dates, 5:30 - 7:30 pm8/48/118/18Raindate: 8/25You'll learn how to:Ride with balance and body-bike separationBrake properlyClimb and descend on trailsShift to the correct gearSteer and cornerApproach obstacles including perform basic front wheel liftsRoll down dropsMaximum 8 students. No matter how you ride your bike, you're about to ride it better!Clinics meet on the east side of Valmont Bike Park near the pavilion next to the dog parkStart Time: 5:30 pm (please be there at 5:15 pm to allow ample prep time)COSTWe love to ride and we know that you do too so we try to keep our expenses low and then pass that savings onto our members. Our goal is to make our clinics accessible to everyone and to grow Boulder's awesome cycling community. Not a member? Sign up at $39/year and save!BMA Members: $180Non Members: $220IMPORTANT INFOAll participants MUST:Wear a properly fitted helmet at all times while ridingWear closed-toe shoesBring water and weather-appropriate clothing (layers are a great idea)Ride a trail-ready bike that is in good working order and fits youGloves and additional padding are encouraged.Minimum age to participate is 14 years old. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who remains present and responsible for the minor at all times. Drop-offs are not permitted.If a rider sustains a head impact or is suspected of a concussion, they will be removed from riding for the remainder of the clinic.For permitting, planning, and payment purposes, you must sign up if you plan to join us.BMA has a 24-hour cancellation policy.
