Whether you recently purchased a new bike, struggle to find the right suspension settings, or simply want to better understand how your bike should be set up, this clinic is for you. No prior knowledge of bike setup or suspension tuning is required.DESCRIPTIONKnowledgeable and experienced coaches will work with you and your bike individually to set up your bike and teach you along the way. Coaches will start with basic safety checks before moving to your seat height and position, followed by handlebar controls, checking and adjusting as needed. Then coaches will check and adjust your tire pressures, fork and shock air pressures (or spring weights), rebound and compression settings, to establish a solid baseline before hitting the trails to fine tune.On the trail, we’ll run laps and bracket your suspension, adjusting to your performance and personal feel on the trail in real time. Your coach will provide their perspective and tips to tune your bike. Once you’re dialed in, you’ll work with your coach to practice skills to take your riding to the next level.All bikes are welcome. Your coach will check and adjust what’s possible during the clinic and offer detailed advice on swapping parts and performing maintenance if needed.WHAT YOU’LL LEARNPerform a basic bike safety check.Set proper saddle height and position.Adjust handlebar controls for comfort and control.Determine appropriate tire pressure for your riding style and conditions.Set suspension sag and air pressure.Understand rebound and compression adjustments.Evaluate how bike setup affects handling and performance.Fine-tune suspension settings on the trail.Develop a baseline setup you can replicate and adjust in the future.Gain confidence making basic bike setup and suspension adjustments on your own.Maximum 4 students.
