2017 Annual Breakfast Event

We are thrilled to have a panel of experts join us at our Annual Breakfast this year to talk about their specialties in treating bipolar disorder. From technology to the use of novel substances, this event will reveal cutting edge approaches to help improve the lives of people with bipolar disorder and give them alternative ways to manage the illness. Panelists will be taking questions from the audience, so register below to join us in the discussion.

About our Panelists

David Miklowitz, PhD is professor of psychiatry at the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the UCLA Semel Institute. He will discuss early interventions and child/adolescent diagnoses.

Debbie Boeldt, PhD is part of the CREST Team at CU Boulder (Clinical Research for Evidence-Based Services and Training). She specializes in web-based interventions, digital health, and mindfulness research.

Matt Vogl, MPH is the Executive Director of the National Behavioral Health Innovations Center at CU's Anschutz Medical Campus. Among other approaches, his team uses technology and real-life settings to improve outcomes with mental illness.

Richard Suddath, MD is the Medical Director for the Boulder Center for TMS where he offers advanced medical treatment for depression, specifically recurrent Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation.

Will Van Derveer, MD is the founder and medical director of the Integrative Psychiatric Healing Center of Boulder. Dr. Van Derveer will discuss the use of novel substances with measured scientific evidence in assisted psychotherapy.

Our panel discussion will be moderated by our special guest and MC, Jeannie Ritter, the Mental Health Center of Denver's Ambassador and the state of Colorado's former First Lady.

A light breakfast and bottomless coffee will be provided. In lieu of ticket sales, you will be asked to make a donation, no minimum or maximum, that will help us continue to improve the lives of people with bipolar disorder. A generous, anonymous donor has committed to matching 100% of all gifts made during the event. Your contribution has twice the value!
