- **Event Description**: Lake Metigoshe State Park is excited to host this camp as part of our summer series, which focuses on environmental education and outdoor recreational skills.

This is a popular camp so we decided to offer it twice this summer! This camp will be doing the same activities at the August 6 camp - two opportunities for day campers interested in learning and practicing survival skills.

This camp will start at 9am and include a variety of hands-on, engaging activities related to making shelters, safely starting fires, wild edibles and use of a map and compass. The day will wrap up with some time at the LMSP swimming beach, which is where participants should be picked up at 4pm. 

The cost for this camp is $40/participant; participants must be the described age at the time of camp. Participants can register for multiple camps within the summer series as different activities are planned for most camps.

Registration for all camps within the series will open on May 1 at 9am via https://bit.ly/LMSPevents. Participation is limited so it is highly suggested to register promptly when registration opens.
