Saturday, July 4
2pm - Patriotic Crafts
Bring your creativity to the main office to celebrate the red, white and blue by making patriotic crafts!

8pm - Dress like a Soldier 
Experience what it was like to be a soldier on the American frontier in the late 1800s. Report to the amphitheater for roll call.



The following are happening in the area, outside of the park. Our park visitors are welcome to join in the follow events that are happening at the lake.  

Friday, July 3
7pm - Club de Skinautique Show
Don’t miss this local waterski club’s performance - view by land or by water! Located along the shoreline south of the Metigoshe Fire Station (just west of the Narrows).

Approx. 8:3pm-10pm - Too Old To Stand
Drop anchor in front of the Cameron/St. Michel cabins located on south lake, just south of the Narrows along the east shore. A free will donation boat will collect funds with proceeds gingo to next year’s Lake Metigoshe Improvement Assocition’s July 3rd fireworks show.

10pm - Lake Metigoshe Improvement Association Fireworks Show 
This fireworks show is off of Masonic Island - located directly across from the LMSP beach and shoreline. Please be prepared to come early to snag a parking spot and space along the shoreline - it’s the busiest day of the year at the park.Feel free to bring your camp chairs and be sure to bring sunscreen, bug spray, and stay hydrated. State Park entrance fees apply.



Saturday, July 4
10am - Lake Metigoshe Improvement Assocoation Children’s Parade
Line up at the Lake Metigoshe Fire Department building just west of the Narrows. No pre-registration needed. This is perfect for all who would like to celebrate - bikes, wagons, strollers, leashed pets are all welcome! Parade heads to the Narrows bridge and returns to the fire station. 


Sunday, July 5
