- **Event Description**: Choir of the Sound is thrilled to announce auditions for our upcoming 2026-2027 (50th anniversary) season!

Audition dates are Tuesday, July 21, and Monday, July 27, starting at 6:00 p.m., held in 15-minute increments and scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you have any questions or would like to schedule an audition, please email auditions@choirofthesound.org.

If neither of these dates works for you, please let us know and we will try to work something out.

Our audition process:
• Your audition will begin with an extended warm-up to display the range and qualities of your singing voice.
• You will be quizzed on intervals and pitch retention.
• You will be asked to sight-read a short musical excerpt consisting of a simple melody.
• You will be asked to sight-read your voice part on a standard four-part chorale.

No prepared piece is required.

Additional Information:
*The choir rehearses on Monday nights 7:00-9:30 p.m., at Bothell United Methodist Church.
*Choir members pay for their own music which typically ranges from $25 to $35 per quarter.
*Choir members pay dues, which at this time is $75 per quarter.
