Carlos Simon, Deborah and Philip Edmundson Composer Chair for Boston Symphony Orchestra, joins the duo for a conversation on being a composer in America today and the development of his "Good News Mass," a new BSO co-commission that draws deeply on the gospel music he learned growing up in his father’s church.
Musical selections from "Good News Mass" will open and close the show.
