This series will invite a committed cohort of singers into a deeper relationship with the process, exploring what is possible as familiarity with the practice and each other grows. No prior songwriting or singing experience is necessary - just come with an openness to mystery and a desire to attune both to yourself and the collective.About the Facilitator: Jordan Mudd is a songleader, grief tender, vocal coach, and co-founder of Boston-Area Singing Circles. He has been catching songs collectively and individually for many years. Learn more about him and listen to his music at www.jordanmudd.comYour Commitment:We meet 4 Tuesdays in a row, 7-9pm, from 4/21 - 5/12. You must plan to attend atleast 3 of the 4 sessions. You MUST be able to join the the first session on 4/21.In between each session there will be simple and fun musical "homework" to complete between each session, designed to help integrate songcatching practices into your daily life. Refunds will not be offered after Friday, 4/17, except for unforeseen emergencies.Additional 1-1 Coaching Available: All participants in this series are eligible for a private "pay-what-you-can" Embodied Vocal Coaching session with facilitator Jordan Mudd (original price $125). These sessions can focus on supporting your practice of songcatching, vocal improvisation, songleading, or any other musical desires you have. Sessions last 75 minutes, and can be scheduled between 9am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, at Jordan's home studio, a 5 minute walk from Forest Hills, JP. Sessions must be conducted between 4/22 and 5/12. Participation in a vocal coaching session is not required to participate in this series.
