- **Event Description**: Semifinal and Final Rounds of Fou Ts'ong Concerto Competition at NEC's Williams Hall, 8/15 (1pm) + 8/16 (7pm) - Brahms Piano Concerto, No.2About this EventThe Semifinal (Saturday 8/15, 1pm) and Final (Sunday 8/16, 7pm) Rounds of the 6th Fou Ts’ong International Concerto Competition will take place at NEC’s Williams Hall soon. 10 Semifinalists from a pool of exceptional strong applicants representing (alphabetically) China, Hong Kong, Israel, Malaysia, Russia, South Korea, Taiwan, and USA, will perform a 20-minute solo program, along with a 5-minute orchestral excerpt from the Brahms Piano Concerto No. 2 in B-flat Major, Op. 83, announced 2-days prior. A number of candidates, will advance to the Final Round on 8/16/2026, 7 pm. The selected finalists will perform the Brahms Piano Concerto No.2 in its entirety with the official collaborate pianist on the second piano.
