The festival combines a number of free and public events, including walking performances, walking seminars, and listening sessions, all taking place in diverse public spaces.On Thursday, April 23, join us at ArtLab at the midway point of the festival to hear from curators, writers, and scholars exploring how sound can become a more intentional element of design and how designers can better plan for walkers.Previously, the Walking Festival of Sound has been curated for Stockholm, Sweden; Newcastle upon Tyne, UK; Krakow, Poland; and Edinburgh, Scotland.
