See the West End, the Freedom Trail, and the Emerald Necklace through the eyes of photographers between 1908 and 1914 (The Golden Age of Postcards!). Each postcard is matched with an illuminating caption.Explore the visual language of historic Boston from the old West End to the evolution of Copley Square. The book reveals how postcards - once dismissed as trivial - document cityscapes in a way no other media can.
