This year feels especially meaningful as we celebrate DPC’s 30th anniversary. The first portion of the afternoon will center community, with members sharing what DPC means to them, alongside bill sponsors and legislators providing updates on DPC’s priority bills; such as wheelchair repair reform, affordable housing, and hearing aid coverage, and how you can help move these bills forward.

During the second half of the afternoon, we encourage participants to carry that momentum forward by scheduling meetings with their own state Senators and Representatives to talk about the bills and issues that matter most to them.

Whether you are new to advocacy or have been doing this work for years, we hope you will join us for this year’s briefing. It is a chance to gather, mark 30 years of DPC’s work, and spend time in community as we continue pushing for change together.

We hope to see you at the State House for an afternoon of showing up, being heard, and doing this work together.
