While studying at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University, she experimented with alternative photo-printing processes and has been deeply interested in trying new printing methods since. From studying photography in London for 5 months to taking ceramics courses in college, Eve loves learning new art forms and is always looking to find new ways to express herself.Class DescriptionCreate one-of-a-kind holiday cards using one of the earliest photographic processes: Cyanotype! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the entire cyanotype process from start to finish, transforming blank paper into beautiful blue prints. Using light-sensitive chemistry and a variety of natural materials and stencils, you’ll design striking images - perfect for turning into handmade cards or small gifts! Experiment with leaves, flowers, lace, jewelry, and festive shapes and stencils to create unique, personal designs. This workshop is ideal for beginners or anyone curious about alternative photographic techniques. You’ll leave with 5-8 original cyanotype prints and plenty of inspiration for creative holiday giving!Material FeeThe materials fee for this class is $15. This is separate from the ticket price and is to reimburse the instructor for any tools or materials used in this class. This will be paid once, directly to the instructor at the start of the first class meeting.
