Discover how the area was formed and gain insights into the lives of the Neponset people. Who has had a role in shaping Columbia Point’s history? Why is UMass Boston here? What do you see across the bay or close to shore?To get there:Public transportation: A free shuttle runs regularly between the Red Line JFK/UMass stop and the university campus. We’ll meet inside on the ground level of the Campus Center, right where the shuttle stops. If you drive, parking info at https://www.umb.edu/transportation/The Friends of the Boston Harborwalk is a volunteer group affiliated with Boston Harbor Now. The group meets monthly to promote awareness, public enjoyment and local stewardship of Boston’s 43-mile Harborwalk.
