- **Event Description**: Join past, present, and future MSU Spartans and their families at our Annual Summer Picnic! Gather among fellow Boston Spartan Alumni to reminisce about East Lansing, connect, and wish our current Spartans a successful school year!

For those traveling by car: there is ample parking at Castle Island. Use 2080 William J Day Blvd, South Boston, MA 02127 for directions.

For those traveling by public transportation: take the route 7 and route 10 bus to the E Broadway @ Farragut Rd stop. Castle Island is a 10-15 minute walk around Pleasure Bay.

Look for us in the MSU tents behind Sullivan's, right off the Castle Island parking lot. We'll supply entrees, soft-drinks, water, and paper products! Guests are asked to bring a dish to share (or, contribute $6 per person to the picnic we'll make sure there is enough food to go around). For guests bringing food with last names beginning with A-L, please bring a a side dish. For those with last names beginning M-Z, please bring a dessert.
