Beginner Sewing Class

Beginner Sewing Class – 5 Session Series

Dates: January 12, 16, 19, 23 & 26, 2026
Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: Gathering Stitches

This class is designed for true beginners—perfect for anyone who knows nothing about their sewing machine. We’ll start with the absolute basics, including learning all the parts of your machine, threading, and practicing essential skills. Each session builds on the last, and you’ll finish one beginner-friendly project every class.

Very limited machines are available to borrow, so please message in advance if you need one reserved.
Supplies for the first class only will be provided. Cutting mats, ironing boards, and irons will be available for all sessions, but students must bring all additional materials for each project.
