# Event Details

- **Event Name**: 6th Annual RV-4 Pilots Boscobel Bash - 2026
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 18 Jul, 2026 at 09:00 am
- **Event Description**: The RV-4 Pilots Boscobel Bash returns for its 6th year as the unofficial kickoff to Oshkosh week and the ultimate RV-4 warm-up party.

Join fellow RV-4 owners and friends at Boscobel (KOVS) on Saturday morning, July 18th, and plan to spend the day—and preferably the night—enjoying everything we wish we could still do once AirVenture begins. Camping on the field is encouraged, with hotel options available nearby for those preferring a roof overhead.

The day will feature formation flying demonstrations, impromptu hangar flying, outstanding food courtesy of host Jason Edwards, and the return of the legendary Balloon Bust & Spot Landing Competition. Test your precision by popping balloons, greasing spot landings, and competing for bragging rights that will last at least until Oshkosh is over.

Expect a relaxed atmosphere, plenty of RV-4 camaraderie, and an opportunity to fly, socialize, and celebrate the airplane that brought us all together. Bring your camping gear, your favorite beverages to share around the evening gathering, and be ready for a full day of flying games, stories, laughter, and RV-4 mischief.

Mark your calendar now and help us make the 6th Annual Boscobel Bash the best one yet. More details, schedules, lodging information, and competition briefings will be released as we get closer to the event.

See you in Boscobel!
