Hike Leader:
Andrew James Pittman is a citizen of the Los Coyotes Band of Cahuilla and Cupeño Indians. He is Nauhañavitcem, commonly known as Segundo. His clan is one of five Cahuilla lineages that occupied Coyote Canyon. Andrew is an advocate for the protection of the natural world, reconnecting to traditional lifeways and elevating Indigenous voices.
