Born in San Bernardino and raised in the Mojave Desert, Lino has called the San Diego area home since 2001. He has always felt connected to nature and the outdoors, and since 2017, Anza-Borrego Desert has been his sanctuary. In his role, Lino manages land conservation efforts through land acquisitions, transferring invaluable properties to Anza-Borrego Desert State Park for preservation. Over the past few years, he’s developed an interest in off-roading, a passion that was further ignited by ABF’s Guided Off-Road Tour in 2023. The experience has enhanced his knowledge and confidence on the trails. Lino is thrilled to align his career with his passion for the desert and is eager to share his expertise with others.
