What to expect:
Kick off the adventure by heading into the washes off of Highway 78, exploring the historic Mine Wash area.
Take a short break at the Narrows Earth Trail for a photo opportunity and a chance to stretch your legs.
Continue to unique geological formations near Quartz Vein and along Old Kane Springs Road for stunning views.
Enjoy expansive vistas along Butte Pass Road before descending into San Felipe Wash.
Conclude with a fun ride through the legendary Texas Dip for a fun finish to your journey.

Location: Meet at the ABF Store (587 Palm Canyon Dr. #110, Borrego Springs, CA, 92004). From there we’ll carpool/caravan to the start of the tour.

Tour Leaders:
Steph and Tom DiPalma have traveled extensively in the last ten years and have spent each winter “season” in Borrego Springs. They have ridden their bikes across the USA and in Europe. They enjoy cycling, hiking, going to new places, entertaining friends, and spending time with family. Anza Borrego Desert State Park is their happy place and they love giving back to the Park. Steph is on the Board of Trustees for ABF and Tom is an avid supporter.
